From the young to the elderly, for skilled nursing and rehabilitation
therapy, Mercy provide all your home care needs. Mercy Homecare
is affiliated with St. Mary Mercy and serves Western Wayne
county Mercy is also part of Trinity Health and has several
branches serving other Trinity hospitals throughout Michigan
and Iowa.
Mercy Homecare provides 24 hour, 7 days a
week availability for service requests and emergency assistance.
Services include:
Skilled Nursing - skilled nursing services
are offered to those who need home care after a hospital
stay or because of a chronic illness or disability. Individuals
can remain independent and in the comfort of their own home.
Rehabilitation services –
Mercy Homecare offers a comprehensive home care program
for patients needing physical, occupational or speech therapy
at home. These services help patients continue their recovery
from surgery or an illness in the comfort of home. Rehab
services are also available for those with mobility problems
caused by a stroke, chronic condition or the aging process.
Hearts in Motion - Mercy
offers a program of coordinated home care services for cardiac
patients; working with the patient's physician and other
health care professionals to provide a treatment plan with
a variety of therapies provided in the home. Telemedicine
and non-invasive monitoring is now available.
Joint Care- This is a collaborative
approach to smooth the transition from hospital to home
care designed to optimize outcomes and quicken the recovery
process following surgery.
Skin Integrity- This program
is designed to maximize wound healing while increasing patient
comfort. Staffed by Wound Care Specialist nurses, we offer
the newest care techniques and products.
Infusion therapy –
Mercy Homecare provides a wide variety of home infusion
therapies to meet both short and long term needs of patients
in the comfort of their own home
Neuralgic / CVI- Our interdisciplinary
team gives expert care to patients who have had strokes
or have other neurological diseases with a focus on improving
functionality.
Partners in Care- Designed
for the patient who has a life threatening illness and would
like to receive continued treatments, but would also benefit
from emotional and spiritual care.

Hospice - Mercy Homecare
works closely with its sister agency, Cranbrook Hospice
Care. Hospice provides comfort, support and compassionate
care to people with life-limiting illnesses and to their
families in a manner that respects and cherishes the dignity
and uniqueness of each individual. Hospice also fosters
community acceptance that dying is an integral part of living.
Trinity Continuing Care Services -
including senior housing, assisted living and skilled nursing
facilities residents are served by Mercy Homecare nursing
and therapy staff.
Commitment to quality
Mercy Homecare specializes in high quality health care services
delivered in the convenience of your home. Our staff includes
licensed professionals such as nurses, rehabilitation therapists,
and certified home health aides Case Managers make sure
that you receive the care that you need. Registered nurses
provide on site supervision in the home.
Mercy Homecare is Medicare certified and is
accredited by the Community Health Association Program (CHAP).
